It's a challenge for Australia to set fresh records.

The greatest achievements have already been conquered.

This is the unit that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, plus an additional six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, those for the achievement hunters, are all that remain for a side that has won it all.

It needed as late as Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase exceeding 300, regaining their record for the largest in the female 50-over format, is, honestly, a tribute to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over the past 50 years.

It's difficult for their batters to maintain a record if not afforded the possibility.

She was troubled by India's promising player Kranti Gaud in the previous month's ODI series, fallen to the emerging pace bowler in all three matches, but on this occasion it simply offered Healy's inspiration.

A single was taken off the bowler's initial ball and after that the right-hander was in motion.

"An opportunity to play and face the challenge with her and merely enjoy the moment in that regard, kind of motivated me," stated Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 deliveries - her fastest at a World Cup - and her century in 84 balls as she flogged anything short, striking 21 boundaries and three big hits.

By the time she was dismissed the team needed 66 more at one run per ball - an achievable target now needing a comfortable finish.

"Pursuing 330 is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the confidence to accomplish that now," continued Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it another time but, if necessary, we are confident we can do it."

That comment will be the last rival teams at this World Cup should hear.

In recent days a feeling they will succeed regardless of circumstances has become more firm - this victory following win against Pakistan by 107 runs despite being 76-7 at one point.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before an encounter with longtime competitors England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final berth may well be secure.

It was in the semi-finals they were eliminated from the previous year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - a game Healy was absent due to damaged tissue in her foot as she led her country for the initial instance at a significant event.

Such is her determination, she afterwards commented she regretted not playing with the discomfort.

Yet even as she later admitted those injuries have delayed consideration of ending her career, this tournament is expected to be her concluding event as leader in one-day cricket and she is yet to win a global event as skipper.

Success in India would bring her to the top of her ultimate challenge.
