Amazing $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
Following a brief run back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned with an encore available until Dec. 2. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by a specialized software company over the years, the complete package is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles available here.
Primary Feature
The big draw is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade cartography program which enables users to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and most notably, tactical combat environments.
A regional fantasy map generated in the CC3+ software platform.
Bundle Tiers
Basic Package
The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.
Mid-Range Option
The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value by adding in permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the annual collection from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.
Complete Collection
For a minimum of $30, the 39-item bundle includes all the following:
- Advanced Terrain Generator
- Dungeon Creation Tool
- Urban Planning Software
- Cosmographer 3

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, dungeons, urban centers, and land masses from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get introductory guides to facilitate learning. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.
Philanthropic Aspect
Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief. Package customization options appear near the page top, though users may also choose any amount for a donation in the right-hand section. Additionally available is an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, allowing you to adjust how much of your donation goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
